Volunteers Needed

New Volunteers are always welcome and needed.   Please view the Animal Rehabilitators of the Carolinas (ARC) Positions Needed form to find out how you can help!

Rehabilitators work from their own homes and must be at least 18 years of age.

To become a member of ARC you must take ARC's  volunteer class, which covers the nuts and bolts of wildlife rehabilitation. Topics include but are not limited to, determining if any animal is in need of assistance, basic care of injured and orphaned wildlife, administering medication, nutrition, proper hygiene and diseases. We also have more in-depth training on grey squirrels, flying squirrels, opossums, chipmunks, and cottontail rabbits, which are the species we deal with the most.

Next 2012 Class: Next classes will be held February 4-5, 2012. A $75 entry fee is charged to cover classes, manuals, supplies and first year membership dues.
To register for the next class please read and fill out the Volunteer Agreement and Volunteer Application forms, include your $75 check and mail them to: Wanda Jolley, 1323 Terissa Drive, Charlotte, NC 28214
