To
become a member of ARC you must take ARC's volunteer class, which covers the nuts and bolts of
wildlife rehabilitation. Topics include but are not
limited to, determining if any animal is in need of
assistance, basic care of injured and orphaned wildlife,
administering medication, nutrition, proper hygiene and
diseases. We also have more in-depth training on grey
squirrels, flying squirrels, opossums, chipmunks, and
cottontail rabbits, which are the species we deal with
the most.
