Found Wild Deer?

If you find injured or orphaned wildlife:

  • Call ARC for instructions or read the information           provided in this site.

Babies are usually rescued unnecessarily. Chances are when you        find a baby, their mom is hiding nearby watching your every move.  Mother deer usually leave their young laying on the ground while searching for food.

Watch the baby deer (from a distance and out of sight) for 3 hours,   if the the mother doesn't return, please call ARC Hotline, at         704-552-2329.

If the baby has been hit by a car, please call ARC Hotline immediately, at 704-552-2329.
